About the Artist-Shanon

Shanon has been a professional psychic for over 20 years. Born in Perth, Western Australia, she is able to tune into energies, whether they be a physical being, like a human or plant, or nonphysical, such as time, or a situation or idea.     Her art shows us the energy matrix or blueprint as shown by the subject’s energy pattern as opposed to what our eyes see. The energetic level being much more primal in many cases, to the eye, while showing many layers of existence to the unconscious that will often trigger memories that can not be put into words.

    As you become more familiar with this art you will be able to sense the different layers, not only in the varying shapes but also by the overlaying of colors and energies, sometimes done multiple times. As your personality becomes more relaxed into trying to name what it is you are looking at, your unconscious will be able to resonate with it. This is especially true with personal portraits. Our personalities think we are “this way” while the portrait will show us who we are in our original and most vibrant form, our energy blueprint.

    Shanon works with pastels on black charcoal paper. This medium allows the energies to come through in many different ways and to still be seen even though they may have been colored over several times before the piece is completed.

When Shanon works, she holds the intent of what it is she is bringing through. She then tunes into the energy, through meditation, or when doing personal portraits, by looking at a photo, and then allows the subject to draw themselves. She never knows what the art will look like until it is completed. She will occasionally see glimpses of colors or a basic environment, but often that will change as the pieces come to life.
